Bad Fats, Sugar and metabolic states linked to breast cancer.

Having higher levels of insulin can give you a 3x increased risk of breast cancer. Over 5,000 women were divided into three groups, depending on their insulin levels, and followed over eight years. Those women in the group with the highest levels of insulin had the largest risk of breast cancer and this was independent of their weight. Being overweight does increase the risk of breast cancer but these results showed that blood sugar and insulin are the major risk factors. Ingestion of bad fat also increases risk.  Ingestion of omega 3 fats are considered to be the good fats.  A new breakthru has been developed for getting omega 3 to the cells.   Keep in touch with future articles at Cancer.im web site.
